Phumula Okinawa

Right here on our farm are two guesthouses available for rent. We first started hosting guests in 2019 in the smaller cottage. 

 

The larger guest house which is the original farm house,  can sleep up to 6 people (8 could fit with 2 on floor mats) and has 2 bedrooms, an upstairs loft, a large kitchen, dining room table, living area, outdoor covered deck area, one toilet, shower and bathtub.  

 

The smaller wooden cabin can sleep up to 4 people, and is an open plan self catering unit with a large kitchen, 2 single beds, 2 floor mats, shower, toilet and living area. 

 

Both units have a separate washing machine and gas tumble drier. We also provided a BBQ set and tools. There is a bonfire space and firewood can be purchased at an extra cost. 

 

This isolated guest house getaway is perfect for couples, remote workers and travellers alike. We have hosted groups as large as 10 a number of times and the space is large enough to comfortably fit such a large group.

The area outside the accommodation is large and spacious and great for children with lots of energy to run around in, but for those travelling alone or for couples, the space, peace and quiet and fresh air in this area creates a much needed space for slowing down and relaxing. 

​

Being off the beaten track, this hide-away is an ideal place to get away, whether you wish to star-gaze on clear nights, sit around a camp fire, listen to the sounds of the forest, or simply retreat to a beautiful and peaceful setting. The wooden interior of both guest houses naturally creates a warm, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere.

Both long and short stays are options for guests who are interested in staying here. WE currently only accept reservations from 2 nights and up.  Although Phumula is isolated from the city, almost everything you need is within a short 5 - 20 minute drive. We also live on the property so you can easily contact us should you need anything urgently.
